And what you get by looking at this year vs last year on a not recently converted SBS is what effect factors OTHER THAN THE SBS improvements have on the SBS lines.

It is absolutely useless to determine the success OF THE SBS IMPROVEMENTS.

(But I and others have repeatedly told you that (as indirectly did your fifth grade math teacher most likely.), so I doubt it will sink in on the 273rd time.)
