I said I am not the one calling it a 24 hour proposal because IT IS IN FACT A 24 HOUR PROPOSAL. I am merely stating what it is. You are trying to make it appear that I was the one who decided it was a 24 hour proposal.

And as far as my statement saying "Peak periods certainly do require the lane", all that I meant is that there is enough traffic during the peak period to perhaps justify an exclusive bus lane but with exceptions to include HOV which has been my position all along. I just can't keep repeating that each time.

However in no way does that statement infer that COUNTS FOR THE PEAK HOUR is all that is needed to justify a proposal in effect for an additional 23 hours.

Wrong. There is need to look at hours other than what you specified. While there may not be a loss of LOS at 3 AM, there certainly would be on a Sunday evening at 9 PM when Woodhaven still has moderately flowing traffic. There is no reason to turn a moderate flow into a heavy flow when no bus riders would benefit increasing trip times and air pollution by more stop and go.
