We are NOT "spineless foamers!"As has been pointed out many times, this combination will be greatly beneficial to many, as Broadway Brooklyn riders will now one-seat midtown service they have NOT previously had, which also takes pressure off the L train and also will reduce crowding on the F train as those who previously got off at Essex-Delancey to switch to the F will drop considerably: 1. Former M riders looking for midtown now will simply stay on the V train. 2. J riders who previously got off at Essex-Delancey to take the F now can make a same platform transfer at Essex for the V, which will now skip 2nd Avenue and go straight to Broadway-Lafayette from Essex Street. That means your F train will be MUCH less crowded than it is now by the time it reaches 2nd Avenue. |
