My point was, tourist also go there when the V isn't running, chiefly on weekends.

You just don't like the fact you're losing YOUR being able to sit on a V train at second avenue and now will have to stand on an F train that likely will be LESS crowded at 2nd Avenue as it will not longer be picking up many of the J/M riders, who instead of switching the F at Essex-Delancey will now stay on the V or switch to the V at Essex.
