Posted by Bronx boy on Sat Jul 30 11:52:30 2016 What are or were Shuttles in New York City. Elevated, Subway, Trolleys and Busses?Let's start off with the Grand Central 42nd Street Shuttle. The original terminal of the 3rd Ave. El was converted to a shuttle when the El was extended North. When electrification came it was operated with two car trains. A motor car and a control trailer. There have been many more. Let's see how many of them are known. |
