They operated for a long time, the reason being the BMT's chronic subway equipment shortage. The West End version was apparently rush hour only.The Culver version was more complicated. Until 1931 the Culver was strictly an elevated line. In 1940 elevated trains ran from 9th Avenue to Coney or Kings Highway to Coney. Yes, at one point the elevated cars through-routed between KH Culver and Bay Parkway WE. |
