According to what i read in the brooklyn Eagle, the Old Main Line Ferry closed in 1904 when the combined daily revenues for the stations dropped below $70. By the way, they closed it like they did the Park Ave section of the Old Main Line in 1889. Told everyone it was for repairs and then said the repair cost wasn't worth it for a lightly patronized line. |
