Did not know this history before.A Frank Pfuler picture he emailed out showed the Fulton St. el's ferry terminal, and in addition, showed this terminal for the old main line el, kind of in the right background of the photo. In the ERA publication, Tracks above Brooklyn (correct title?) there is a photo of this original old main line two track route, on the right (north) side (manhattan bound approach ramp) of the Brooklyn Bridge after it left the ferry terminal going east. |
