At one time there were more Jews living in NYC than in all of Israel.

Ok. I'll assume Hebrew media was as successful as Hispanic media "at one time".

New York is a pretty diverse city. Lots of Russians. I remember when someone started Radio Vresu on 88.9 and lost millions, even though he was the only Russian music station in the city. Russians didn't care b/c they assimilate fast. Many Hispanic groups don't.
