Now take away Univision and Telemundo, and Mexicans will force immigrants to flip to regular stations and learn English.No. It's capitalism. Supply and demand. Spanish-speakers are happy enough with the programming on those channels as to watch them and since advertisers pay based on the ratings and demographics, the channels are profitable. RAI-USA's quality sucked and was therefore rejected by Italian-speakers. That has been my argument from the start. Are you advocating that the government ban these legally incorporated companies? |
