The newer generations of immigrants never had to live in a ghetto like the Italians, Jews, Irish, and probably Germans as well.Today's first generation lives in Ozone Park, Jackson Heights, and Canarsie. Solid middle class neighborhoods. Yet, among today's immigrants, there's an attitude of exclusion from America's mainstream, and lack of opportunity. Unreal. |
