June 1982 - This is the subway entrance and portal unfinished.

June 1982 - Looking the other way, the "Y" shaped columns are ready for further steel work

September 1982 - New and old structures are compared.

November 1984 - Broadside comparison of both structures. The R-16 on the right is #6398, currently a museum car.

May 1985 - No trains on the el because the track panels have been removed. Razing the old steel work is next.

June 1985 - The structure has been removed and ready for the new steel for the subway connection

August 1985 - The new structure in red lead primer paint is taking shape.

August 1985 - The new steel work is connected to the older structure.

September 1985 - Installation of track panels is taking place. Painting of structure would come later.
