To digress a little - the lore and exaggeration about built but never finished tunnels - during the late 90s (around the time of the reconstruction of the eastern end of the Main St. terminal), I was at Main St. talking to one of the train operators about unused tunnels/stations, and she told me that she heard there were tunnels beyond the Main Street wall behind the bumping block "that extend all the way out to Nassau." heh!
