Adding:In this, I should have clarified the (J) train would permanently terminate at Chambers Street with the (R) being a 24/7 line. It would be designed where on weekdays (excluding (R) trains that are continuing to or coming from Broadway Junction because it's a scheduled yard run with those in service since the (R) in this would be based at East New York yard), passengers would transfer between the (R) and (J) at Chambers if they are going northbound and at Canal or Chambers if going southbound. This would not apply to late nights and weekends when the (R) would at all times be running to Metropolitan Avenue as it would absorb the current (M) shuttles. |
