that's always been one of the benefits of a robust local/express train service infrastructure. the "pump-and-flush" dynamic, when efficiently executed does result in seats becoming available at every express stop. maybe it can only work in new york city but it does work well here.

all i was saying in an earlier post was there are good reasons for continuing the one seat ride r train from 95th street in bay ridge through manhattan.
