Actually, Essex is an M Shuttle terminal late evenings. I don't know what hapened to that on weekends. That saves them a transfer at Myrtle if headed uptown, which most people are. But we don't need to create new transfer points where none exist now. Joe: It's the other way around. Late night "M" train terminates at Myrtle Avenue. On weekends the "M" terminates at Essex Street from about 7/8 AM to 11 PM. On weekdays the occasional "M" train might wander down to Chambers Street if there is a backup on the 6th Avenue Line. If that is the case they reverse on the tail track south of the station like the old No.10. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
