Posted by ntrainride on Sun Nov 28 13:35:23 2021, in response to Re: Moving the (R) to Nassau Street permanently (addition), posted by Joe V on Sun Nov 28 13:24:07 2021. whenever i used chambers street i could barely see it over all the history that has gone on there. i metaphorically put on my "spectacles", ala the real oz stories so it all looks "green". the history in the city hall turf is dense.i'm so gone when i see chambers street station i think "wow, such a modern useful subway station! new york certainly is improving." hey, it is cool that for a while crowded downtown tenement dwellers could take a "super express" train out to the ocean beaches. |
