Nissan Altima Problems

A few of us on this board have this car. I just got a recall notice.

The gist of it is noted below.

"There is a potential for the rear sub-frame bushings to crack due to accelerated corrosion due to the car being operated in salt laden condition in the winter. All cars 2002-2005 are effected. They will recall the car at no cost and fix it, if the problem has started. They are extending the warranty in that rear area to 13 years , unlimited mileage."

So Altima owners, be on the lookout for this letter!
