It'll then have six SUV's in the U.S. market, excluding Scion and Lexus but including the rarely seen Land Cruiser. The new model, the FJ40, will be a rugged vehicle designed for heavy off-road use, an obvious competitor for the Jeep Wrangler. It's supposed to start around $25K, though given way Toyota dealers love to price-gouge it'll surely cost you a lot more to snag one.Judging from the pics that I saw of the new FJ40, it's aiming for the Honda Element market and the rugged-off roading masculine SUV. The enlarged RAV4 is much better looking than the bland Highlander, but I wonder if Toyota will lose sales for upsizing? |
