The Acura MDX has a third row also. It actually nearly made me sick when I noticed it at the dealership last year. I think it's good for my 6 year old cousin, and thats just about it.

My wife's Honda Pilot which is the fraternal twin to the Acura MDX has the 3rd row seating and it seems to be OK. My 12 year old niece loves to ride back there and we've had one adult in the 3rd row on at least 2 occasions (it's only 6 months old). I think Honda did a great job as usual. It's a great vehicle with lots of room for whatever you need to do, has deent acceleration for a SUV.
