NNA - Smyrna manufactures the Frontier, Xterra, and Altima. Production capacity at Smyrna has grown to 500,000 vehicles annually, with more than 5 million vehicles built to date. The Decherd facility produces transaxles for the Altima, as well as the Nissan Quest and Mercury Villager minivans. The current employment level of 5,800 at the Smyrna and Decherd facilities could increase by as much as 2,000 by the year 2004.
