The criticism of the survey wasn't irrelevant but to the point.You stated it was a fact that nearly half the adult US population believes in creationism. I thought the figure would be much lower like a percentage in the 20s or 30s. So you cited a study showing 46% who believe in creationism to support your point. Then you state that is only one example how i am wrong most of the time. When I tear apart the study's as possibly being faulty, all of a sudden, my criticisms of it become irrelevant. So yes, I consider it that important when someone uses possibly faulty data where the numbers appear suspicious to justify a claim that I am wrong most of the time and calls me old and senile to boot just because I disagree with you. |
