Yes. Or that people would know which blackout you are talking about.

I wasn't ignorant of that at all. Of course i remember it. I lived through that one as well.
Your post made it seem like you were ignorant of it, or at least ignorant of the fact that not everyone agrees that that one was "the big northeast blackout".

I just made thhe post about the first blackout because it was the 50th anniversary but neglected to use the word "first". I never said anything about it being the only blackout. So there was no reason for any ribbing.
Yes, your error, if that's the real explanation, would also be grounds for ribbing.

And the language he used was not a "light ribbing" but accusatory which was why I responded in the harsh manner I did.
Wrong. The language he used was very much in fact "light ribbing." Harsh language would be completely different. Accusatory language can be part of the light ribbing. Your "harsh language" response was uncalled for*. You completely misunderstood the situation.

*I wouldn't call your uncalled for response "harsh language"", but if you want to call it that, then that's your call.
