Duke Rape Accuser Indicted For Murder In Boyfriend's Killing |

Posted by JayZeeBMT on Tue Apr 19 13:03:17 2011 Crystal Mangum, the woman who falsely accused several members of the Duke University lacrosse team with raping her, has been indiced for first-degree murder. Mangum, now 32, was indicted for the stabbing death of her boyfriend, Reginald Daye, who died of his injuries in a Durham, N.C. hospital a few days ago. Since Mangum made her bogus rape accusations, she has been beset by mental-health issues, including an incident last year in which she set fire to her house during an argument with Daye. She pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge in that case. If convicted of Daye's murder, Mangum could face the death penalty. |
