My crowd? None in "my crowd" were birthers. Legit birthers are a rare breed and are not in line with mainstream conservatism. If you read conservative blogs over the last 3 years, you'd understand this. Most in "my crowd" always asserted that Obama used this issue for political gain, not that he was actually born outside the United States. Demands that he release this birth certificate from "my crowd" were made to demonstrate how cynical Obama was behaving. Today made our case. Obama had the power to do this in 2008. His minions lied to America when they claimed there were laws in place preventing it.
