But he didn't go one step further and release one additional document that has no greater legal value. He wanted to make his opponents look like idiots. Is that wrong?Except that's not why he sat on this document. Why did his supporters insist for years that he couldn't release it? We now know this was a bold faced lie. If he wanted to humiliate the birthers, all he had to do was release this document 3 years ago. It would have ended any hope for birtherism outside the whackjob community and those who profit on the controversy. That's the big flaw in your argument. To make birthers look bad, he had to release this document. Not doing so until now only stoked the fires of suspicion. Why did he do that? We all know why. Birthers were a convenient tool for him, particularly with his base who are willing to swallow anything that makes those opposing Obama's agenda as racists. To deny this is to deny the reality most Americans now accept as fact. You're a flat Earther trying to convince everyone that the world isn't round the day Francis Drake returned to Plymouth on the Golden Hind. |
