Again, that's not the point. There was no legit reason for not releasing the birth certificate, yet he refused....for 3 years. That sort of behavior will naturally attract suspicion. This was precisely the reason he DIDN'T release it, so he could stoke the controversy for his own political gain (mostly allowing him to fire up the base by claiming the other side were racist nutjobs).

I specifically said few on the right actually believed Obama was not eligible for the presidency. Most conservatives, from Rush Limbaugh to Andrew Breitbart never wavered from this assertion. They simply maintained that Obama's excuses for not doing what he did today were lies and that he was using Birthers for his own gain. They were right.
