I'm having a lot of trouble taking this issue seriously. Yeah we can make all the jokes and snide remarks about her seemingly loose morals and her frequent wedding miles but explain this to me. What happens when she goes on vacation? What happens if she goes for surgery? Is there no one who can act in her place or do all marriages stop in that particular county? It seems simple enough that when she is unable to perform her duties due to her religious beliefs, the same person who would perform her duties when she is on vacation or when she is sick, could do perform her duties and sign the license. END OF DRAMA.
