While I am not trying to defend anybody here, it isn't just SubTalk. What about Bill Zucker's "Car Assignments & Deviations Therefrom" that's been a mainstay of the New York Division "Bulletin" for years now? What about George Chiasson's painstakingly detailed articles on the history of where certain car classes ran, and why, and where he thought the next assignments would be? Are these examples any different than someone asking here about why an R-289023 was plowing the Zedda line last week when everyone knows only Q-78384 models run there? Some people find that level of detail interesting and others don't.

And at least those kinds of posts are on topic.
