The most likely switching or fill in with the M would be some train that runs on the D line, but seeing that the D right now has a mainstay of R68's running on it, we are not going to see a D pressed into M service. If however, the West End was still dominated by the R40 Slants like it was in the early 90's, when the B ran there, we could have maybe seen some Slants show up on the M.However, the BIG problem, it's not really doable because the M can only handle 8 cars, and the B (or D today) would have been 10, even if running 60 foot cars. So we just don't see it. |
