It would force most of them onto the Q53 and Q35.London, England has the London Overground concept - a hybrid transit/commuter rail model of circumferential lines and eastern distant branches of what was London Underground with 4 car trains, what the RBB should be. LIRR fares and Unlimited Metrocard have decimated ridership on the Hempstead, West Hempstead, and Far Rockaway Branches as it is. The Friday, pre-sunset, seasonal express train to Far Rockaway now has an added stop in Rosedale. It seems North Woodmere residents have relearned the trick of driving to Zone 3 to pay lower fares. |
