MTA's stupid planners assigned to Queens Bus Redesign proposed killing the Q53-SBS, that replaced a rail service, retaining the weak sister Q52, and disintegrating Jackson Hts/74th Street bus hub at the subway junction. Planners like buses because they are "flexible" - so flexible in fact, they can get rid of them. Make it a rail service, and they will be unable to play games. |
