I believe that was yesterday PM but am not aware of a more up to date briefing from NTSB.
The salient points as I understand what is known, are

"qualified" engineer and trainee conductor incab. rumored Siemens customer engineer not mentioned.

brakes went BIE as air hoses broke apart, no indication SO FAR of service braking by engineer prior

PTC scheduled to be functionsal "in 2018" whenever that means.
