It was upgraded to 79mph track--one assumes newer rail, ballast and surfacing work, replacing bad ties etc. Given that Metrolink in LA has PTC in service now, it should be possible on this short stretch in a few months. Part of the holdup, IINM, is the final acceptance of the newly delivered Siemens Chargers. |
