I dare say that if one of those high seniority conductors was aboard that MN train that wrecked in Spuyten Duyvil, he would have sensed that the train wasn't braking where it should, pulled the cord & that wreck just might have been prevented. Something we'll never know.I'm more surprised at the Hoboken accident. Every conductor who's ever worked Hoboken should know the speed to come in on the platform... |
