Well, maybe I should have said "most", but you and SUBWAYSURF would still attack me.Truth is, I'm still right. For most white people, they'll make feel good statements like, "I don't mind what color my neighbors are". Or my favorite goes something like this: "I had (insert minority) neighbors and they were really nice people". People who make such statements usually don't mean it. It's often a sign of surrender and acceptance of the fact that middle class neighborhoods are becoming much more diverse, whether one likes it or not. |
