You are fooling yourself. While that is generally true, race plays a big part.Strong words. As I said to LuchAAA, you're just reading certain demographic correlations as causing bad neighborhoods. I don't care what race my neighbors are, white, polka dot, hispanic, Aleutian, I just care that I have a quality living environment. No parties at 3am, no muggings are a way of life, no 55 people living in the 1BR/1BA unit next door, no burglaries being routine, no trek to transit and quality food, no lack of amenities, etc. |
