Yes, perhaps too strong. I would have edited, but you know...I'm not saying that you care what race, religion, etc your neighbors are, but I do remember that you were cool with profiling individuals (regardless of race). Given that how could you not know that - in general but not always - neighborhoods with more black residents have more crime? And I don't think that is an uncommon thought process. People do consider race. At least Americans that have experience with different races would. |
