I miss my quiet, multicultural, predominantly white neighborhood in Long Beach, CA.It's funny how everyone in this thread like Spider-Pig, SMAZ, and trainsarefun bring up race, thinking I'm attacking blacks b/c I openly admit that I would prefer to live in a neighborhood that is mostly white middle-class. I say that b/c I want to avoid Hispanics. I always had be experiences with Hispanic neighbors, which is why I now try to avoid them. I know exactly what you're talking about with the honking horns too. It's a macho thing. A Nissan with tinted windows, blue lights, loud music, and louder muffler, pulls up and starts honking the horn instead of using a cell phone. Why do your male Hispanic neighbors do that? Attention. Cred. They want people to look at them, so they don't use the cell or text. |
