The Confederacy never redeemed itself. Why should people like its flag?Speaking of flags, South Africa changed its in 1994. My opinion on the confederate flag is more nuanced: The flag flown by most people purporting to fly the "confederate flag" was never adopted by any agency of the Confederate States of America. It is the Klan flag. Look it up. If a person wants to fly the Stars and Bars to honor their ancestors, they should feel free. |
