Also note most gentlemen are wearing hats.


It was a different time. If you see fan trip pictures from the 40's and early 50's all the men are wearing suits and ties. The younger boys aren't wearing jackets but they are sporting sweaters and ties. The few ladies that on sees are usually dressed in their Sunday best.
