Back in the day, at Brooklyn Tech, ties were not permitted, the reason give was some of the machinery could possibly catch on to the tie, and the result would be harmful injury.Chinos were acceptable, but blue jeans were not and garrison belts were forbidden. The reason, the movie "Black Board Jungle". But Motorcycle Jackets were allowed. Go figure. |
