What's the rate of people killing police in the US versus other countries?

It's 4.96/100K. That's equivalent to 496/10M. The figure for police killings is 33.5. This means an innocent civilian is only 14.8 times more likely to be killed by a civilian than by a cop. Many people regard this as an unacceptably low ratio. The ratio is 240:1 in the UK.

Think about this: How many people have been arrested and put in jail just because everyone assumes the police version of events is always the truth?

Bystander and body cam video is beginning to change that. The police can't lie to justify their actions anymore.

I love how they leave the 800-pound gorilla in the room out of this. That Breonna chick was killed because her boo was shooting at the police as they entered the room. The police had no other choice than to fire back at the threat. But you know this already. I already told you that Mr Jean was killed because he was banging her and it went South. But yes, let's bring that up again so you can try to argue with me. And, if we must further elaborate, she was off duty, so calling her a cop would make as much sense as calling her a locksmith when something happened in her own apartment. Amadou Diallo was an unfortunate incident. He legitimately got killed by mistake. Although, there was a joke that was going around amongst local and federal law enforcement at the time. Knock knock? Who's there? Amadou. Amadou who? Amadou what the police tell me to do next time, and put my hands over my head!

Horse puckey. I know for a fact there ARE retaliatory arrests. Charges like "obstructing government administration" and/or "disorderly conduct" are tailor-made for just such needs. I've seen to his play out myself, with a CNN commentator I know who has been openly critical of the police on the air.

He was filming the protesters going down the West Side Highway, and several cops walked past him, turned around, came back, and arrested him for "failure to obey", even though he was wearing his credentials. Took him a full 36 hours to get out. Still has to go see the judge.

The same thing happened to a CNN crew in Minneapolis, except the cops didn't know the camera was live, and the whole country saw it happen. CNN Legal was fuming about that. The cops locked up the on-camera journalist, the cameraman, AND the producer, unprovoked. Remember, the entire incident went out LIVE. (PS, a white CNN crew half a block away wasn't even bothered by the police.) Retaliatory arrests occur all the time.

1. Breonna was sound asleep in her bed when she gets as shot right times, and get boyfriend was ruled to be legitimately defending himself when he let that one shit go. The perp they were looking for was already in custody, ten miles away, when this happened.

I can't understand why you still persist in saying Guyger and Jean were having a relationship or affair. Don't you think that would have been brought to look guy by now? If Guyger was a spurned lover, that would have been favorable to her, because it would then be a crime of passion, which would have likely gotten her some leniency at sentencing.

Her house and her auto were listed on the search warrant. Her boo was the one who brought this all upon themselves, by shooting at the police. The way it works is every single person in the location is initially put into coughs, and later on if it's determined they are not actually involved, they may be let go, so long as there's not any Contraband in any public area of the house.

One reason "there was no other option" is that the police were not taught what the other options were. That goes into the lack of training (19 weeks US vs. 3 years Norway), especially in defusing a situation.
