Hell, no.

The worst President ever was Jimmuh Carter. I remember the Carter years vividly - skyrocketing inflation, consumer skepticism, lowered expectations, a "great malaise." Lets not even get started on how he bungled the Iran hostage crisis.

Runners up (in my memory): Bush 41, for being out of touch with the common American; and LBJ, for jacking up the Vietnam involvement. Gerald Ford was no great shakes either, but he had the job thrust upon him.

Guys on the lunatic fringe like BIE are probably about 12 years old and can't remember anything before 2000.
