Mitch, it is absolutely amazing how some of our friends on board are so ignorant of history, or just so hateful toward George W. Bush that would rally to the cry of worst President. Jimmy Carter was the worst by far in the last 50 years. He was absolutely inept--foreign policy, inflation, taxes, energy, hostage crisis, interest rates. Just pathetic. LBJ was the greatest education and civil rights President in history but he will never be recognized as a good President because of all the riots, the breakdown of law and order in this country and the Viet Nam War which, talking about lieing to the American people, this is one President who did. Another talented man, Richard Nixon was so paranoid that he destroyed himself and almost brought down the country with him. The back in his was James Burchanan, Martin Van Buren, John Tyler, Andrew Johnson, Benjamin Harrison, Herbert Hoover. These were Presidents a hell of a lot worse than "W". Come guys, read some history. |
