"I didn't know you were Jewish"?

Forget my grammar. I don't have an MBA like some people here.

So I ran into a Christian couple from Brazil who I know to be Christians. "Christians", as in La Iglesia do Cielo or something like that.

So I was surprised when I saw the woman were a Star of David on her chain and said, "I didn't know you were Jewish".

She said, "I'm not Jewish. But my Lord my savior Jesus Christ was Jewish, so I wear this".
