Once they do that they are proclaiming their beliefs.....they had become a religion.I disagree. You can proclaim beliefs without being a religion. Religion is a set of beliefs concerning a specific topic. Are scientists who study the origins of the universe and publish papers about their research necessarily part of a religion? And then there's this: Atheism is not a belief system nor is it a religion. |
