The left turn lanes reduce capacity on the through lanes, as they take away green time from the through movement. If that time is given back to the through movement in the future conditions, then generally speaking there should not be a great reduction in capacity that you are predicting. You obviously are not a transportation planner or a traffic engineer as several of us here are so why don't you STFU and listen to people who are smarter and more knowledgable than you on these matters?????????żż |
