I'll have to find time to digitize them. What I have is on ferric oxide and I don't have copies of some of the more egregious violations, only got to see them when someone came to visit up here who works for Matt Sansverie's office (MTA Inspector General) and showed me a copy of what the "beakies" took.

I'm sure others who see this and are with the circus will chide in and confirm my words for ya, but the "boo hoo hoo" is NOT how things work. Any claims that the MTA is "one big happy star fleet" ... well ... there's a lot of wigs and wiglets with axes to grind as well as disgruntled people at all levels. The MOD trips were the cause of a great deal of pain for all of the kind people who went out of their way to make it happen. And sadly, most of them got disciplined as their reward. :(

Be GRATEFUL that the museum is going to be permitted to turn wheel at ALL. I imagine THAT was like pulling teeth for those involved as well. And I'm sure all of the "auditing" is still ongoing with an eye to charge back to the museum all those hours, that paint and the electricity to run those trains. Don't underestimate the viciousness of political subdivisions/state agencies. Anyone WITH the show can tell you just how loony it gets. All I can suggest is to appreciate what you HAD, and to quote that old song, "don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone."

MAYBE once Paturkey's gone and the MTA gets a new board, there might be hope in a future year perhaps ... but the MOD trips didn't work out as planned. I'll leave it there and let others chide in if they wanna back me up here ...
