A trackway branched off the local before the station and seemed to run on the other side of the station wall. Then, after passing the station, the trackway rejoined the main line. There were trackways on both sides (71 Av-bound and Manhattan-bound).

Those are bellmouths. They do not go behind the station. It was mention here that those were for the possibility of conversion of Woodhaven to an express stop.
